The BeginningOur Roots
We started as Sri Balamurugan Tubewells with a simple goal: helping local farmers in South India find reliable water. Operating out of our main office in Madurantakam, Kanchipuram, we spent our early years drilling agricultural borewells in tough, rocky terrains. Over the decades, we've built strong relationships with rural communities by helping them secure their water supply during dry seasons.
Today
The EnterpriseGrowing with Tamil Nadu
As the region grew, so did we. Today, SBT Borewells has expanded into a full-service deep foundation and drilling company. While we still drill domestic and agricultural borewells, we also supply heavy-duty hydraulic rotary piling rigs for commercial construction across Chennai and neighboring cities.
Whether it's a compact 4½" borewell in a tight residential street or a large 1500mm pile foundation for a new commercial building, we bring the same dedication and hard work to every single job.
Owned Equipment
We own and operate all our rigs. This means we don't rely on third-party rentals, allowing us to keep costs fair and avoid delays.
